Dual Sim Card Cell Phone Review

You can get a a mobile phone that can be used with your personal and business transactions separately but in one hand held device. How’s that possible? Dual Sim Card phones have been around for some time to give you that kind of feature. You can have two sim cards with different phone numbers and different service providers in a single mobile phone. Mix business with pleasure without having to carry two phones.

There are different types of dula sim card cell phones. These are the stand by dual sim phones and active dual sim phones. The first type of the sim phone is the first of its generation where your mobile phone or watch phone contains two sim cards but cannot activate both at the same time. Meaning, you can only receive calls from the active sim card that is currently in use. You can receive from the other when you have switched to that. You can do so with just choosing which sim card to use from the menu options.

The active dual sim phones are more advanced. They have the capability to utilize both sim cards at the same time regardless if they have different service providers. You will notice two sets of signal bars in the main menu which represent the service providers. Basically these phones are like any other phones except them carry two sim cards instead of one. You can enjoy the great features of the phone without slowing it down. The only downside there is to these types of phones is the battery life. Since two sim cards are used, you have to carry an extra battery because they consume so much of the power.

Dual sim card cell phones and quad band phones are very practical. You can get one for just over $40. Imagine you can toggle through one sim to another without having to turn them off or grab another phone from your bag. These phones are especially popular in Asia. They are perfect for people who are always out of the country. You can maintain your original line back at home while using the local sim of the country you are currently visiting.
