I find that there are generally two classes of consumers that are attracted to the iPhone clones like the SciPhone - those who like the features of the refurbished iPhone, but want the ability to use two sim cards or have two networks or phone numbers; and those who are attracted to these phones because it is so much cheaper to use and buy them.
These sciphone i68 4g are contract free and you can use them which ever applicable network you like, which can really save you a lot of money. I'm often asked exactly which networks work with this phone and whether you can also use prepaid or pay as you go sim cards with it. I'll answer this question in the following article.
GSM Cards Are All Fair Game: Generally speaking, any carrier that uses a GSM sim card will work. This SciPhone i68 4g is quad band so this covers every conceivable MHZ band.
Prepaid and Pay As You Go Options With The SciPhone i68 4g: Again, any GSM option is going to work fine. This includes AT&T pre paid "Go Phone," T Mobile's pre paid "T Mobile To Go" and T Mobile's pay as you go "Flex Pay." Generally speaking, you are going to pay slightly more for your minutes this way, but you aren't paying for minutes that you don't use.
Prepaid Cards And The Internet: You can still get online with this phone if you're going to go prepaid. Go Phone and refurbished iphone will let you get online by paying via KB used. This way, you're only paying for what you actually use. Also, you can sometimes find T Mobile data cards that combine unlimited talk, text, (usually including MMS) and Internet for about $20 - $30 per month. However, these expire after 30 days and the phone number will then change. You can keep one sim with the same number on which you take calls and you can use this data card for the Internet and for making calls. This can make sense if you are a heavy talker and web browser. Other wise, it may be over kill, but it is most definitely cheaper than a monthly plan because it includes data and you aren't bound to a contract. If you don't need it, you just don't buy it.
Of course, for any of this to work, you'll need to make sure that you either have or have updated the correct WAP, MMS, and data settings for the i68 4g. Some sellers are happy to do this for you.
